The story

Ren and his roommate have the easy rhythm of a couple who haven't admitted it. She leaves his coffee out, he gets caught staring, and a half-started confession fades into small talk. Then Amira, called Mira, turns up uninvited and asks for a spare spot.

Episode 2 explains why: Dorian dumped her and threw her out. Ren has just lost his job and can't pay his side of the rent, so three people sharing the bills is the only way to keep the apartment. Mira calls dibs on the closet, spots a crush in minutes, and proposes a contest: both go after Ren, the one he chooses wins, and he never knows.

The characters

Ren: Stuck in the best roommate zone, and now jobless with half the rent unpaid.
His roommate: Makes his coffee every morning, notices his stares, and is hiding a crush of her own.
Mira: Amira, dumped by Dorian, who turns up with nowhere to go and a game in mind.
