I Can See Through Everyone But Her

The story

Owen swears the pill was the best decision of his life. His landlady, Mrs. Alvarez, is waiting on Friday's rent, and he catches himself smiling and telling her she looks good today. Then comes a follow-up appointment he skipped, and a woman who greets him on day two with the news that she knows he can't see through her.

Episode 2 shows the cost: a nosebleed that won't stop and a view of the bones in his own head. She calms him, then sets a test: every mark he finds on her costs her one piece of clothing. Birthmark, tattoo, scar: he gets them all right, and the lab expects him in the morning.

The characters

• Owen Hale: Broke tenant who just gained a perfect view of everyone and can't stop smiling about it.
• Mrs. Alvarez: His landlady, firm about Friday's rent and unfazed by his sudden compliments.
• The follow-up woman: Calm and in charge, she handles nosebleeds, panic and a game with strict rules about clothing.

Why watch it

Good for fans of high-concept premises played for tension: a pill, a secret, and a woman who stays a step ahead of him. The hook is that the superpower comes with side effects and a supervisor. Start episode 1 for the rush, and stay for the line that ends it.
