The story

David walks into Tori's wedding uninvited and finds the bride alone in the bridal suite. She still wants him, and a reckless moment in her wedding dress follows. What should have been a single lapse becomes a secret affair that keeps going after the ceremony.

Her new husband knows nothing. He stays on the sidelines of his own marriage while the two people he trusts carry on.

The story rests on that tension: a bride, a man she has not gotten over, and a groom with no idea, in a secret that gets harder to hide with time.

The characters

Tori: A bride who cannot shake her pull toward David, even on her wedding day.
David: The man who bursts into her wedding and starts a secret affair.
The new husband: Tori's groom, oblivious and watching from the sidelines while his marriage is quietly rewritten.
