Taking Care of My Stepmom

The story

A broken leg leaves a stepmom unable to get into bed, and Dad is away, so the job falls to her stepson. He asks what she needs, and she replies that he should be careful offering that. Dressing for an appointment turns into a zipper and a clasp she cannot reach. By evening the favor runs the other way: tonight she needs help out of the dress.

Episode 2 sets the routine. He unzips her, Dad rings to check in, and she says she is fine and the son is helping. After the call she says she needs him more than ever and wants him lying beside her, on her husband's side. She asks whether he will behave.

• Her stepson: The live-in helper who finds every small favor comes with a bigger one attached.
