The story

Rose's life plan fits on a sticky note: look gorgeous, enjoy herself, start over tomorrow. Plenty of people know her name, and her roommate quietly runs the household while she calls him a loser to his face. He rarely leaves his room, which she likes.

Then she mentions that his keyhole is now a much bigger one, and that he may look if he wants. He lingers over whether she actually means it.

Another day, alone and bored, she makes him her driver, promising to brighten his day if he proves useful. A lollipop joke, an invitation to have some fun and a short answer follow, and the night ends with Rose telling him he has plenty to learn.
