Courtney's Secret

The story

The tenant just wanted a clean start in a new city. Then he's caught watching Courtney, the landlord's wife, who seems more amused than offended. Her husband Jamie says they look after their own around here, newcomers most of all, and a little soap lands on the tenant's shirt.

Courtney narrates with a private grin: he pities her for being stuck with a husband like Jamie, and never suspects he's the one in trouble.

Episode 2 happens while Jamie is at work. Nicole, a neighbor from the same street, drops by, saying Courtney told her all about him. Courtney lends him out for the afternoon, and over iced tea Nicole brings up a tattoo from a night she can't remember.
