Under The Captain

The story

The newest stewardess on a private yacht feels outmatched by a polished crew and assumes the captain, who also owns the boat, will never notice her.

His assistant keeps his calendar, moves a call with a broker and hints that their Thursday reservation by the water could become a date. When he asks about the newcomer, the assistant brushes her off as temporary.

Then the stewardess serves juice, the deck tilts and his shirt is soaked. He takes her below for a change of clothes, personally. She keeps apologizing; he tells her not to worry and asks her to remove the shirt.

The characters

• The stewardess: On her first day aboard, anxious, clumsy and sure she is invisible.
• The captain: Owner and skipper of the yacht, serious until the juice hits.
• The assistant: Manages his schedule, wants dinner with him and resents the new hire.

Why watch it

A good fit for viewers who like workplace romance with a jealous rival. The yacht setting is glossy, the spill is pure slapstick and the assistant's sideways glances add bite. Start episode 1 to reach the private tour below deck.
