The story

Her latest journal entry is a confession she would never say aloud. She wants the man her sister is dating, and her sister trusts them both.

He walks into the cafe where she works, supposedly just for coffee. He is curious about the notebook she keeps hiding, and admits he finds her writing habit more intimate than most dates.

Then he confesses the relationship has been rocky and that the couple has discussed an open arrangement. Someone else is on his mind, he says. That is when her sister's name lights up his phone.
