My Stepmom's Weekend

The story

His father won't be home until Sunday night, and before leaving he asks his wife Riley to make sure his son, back from college, doesn't bury himself in books. Riley promises to keep him busy.

She asks whether there's a girlfriend at college, approves of the answer and tells him his father has never watched her the way he just did. He freezes. She says she likes it and proposes a movie tonight, his choice, because her husband hates movies.

When Dad phones mid-movie, Riley answers sweetly and says they're getting along great. After the call, she turns bedtime into a story she's improvising, tells him he can stop her any time, and he doesn't.

The characters

• Riley: His stepmom, played by Riley Reid's licensed AI twin; the performer never filmed these scenes.
• The stepson: A college student, quiet and flustered, who is told he deserves a break from books.
• Dad: The absent husband, heard only by phone, who assumes everything at home is fine.

Why watch it

A pick for fans of the stepmom who takes charge, told as a slow tease that stays inside one house and one weekend. The tension comes from the phone call, the movie playing in the background and the way she keeps checking whether he wants to stop. If movie night sounds harmless, episode 1 will correct you.
