Christmas With My Girlfriend's Stepsister

The story

He drives to the airport to collect Kenzie, his girlfriend's stepsister, who is flying in for Christmas. The ride home is the problem. Something Kenzie does in the passenger seat leaves him stammering her name, and she tells him to watch the road, not whatever he is watching instead.

Then the phone rings with his girlfriend on the line. Kenzie answers brightly: he was a lifesaver and a sweetheart, they enjoyed the trip, no reason to panic. Every word is accurate, and none of it sounds harmless.

They are almost home. Kenzie asks if he wants to come in, and episode 1 closes on a Merry Christmas greeting at the door.
