Your Wish is my Command

The story

A homeowner tells the handyman to get a room spotless before her husband gets back within hours. While he works, he finds a lamp, and a genie tells him wishes are on offer. He asks her to clean the room, and she is stunned: in four centuries, kings, generals and a bishop all asked for gold, and he asked her to finish his shift.

In episode 2 she pushes him to ask for anything, any amount, anytime, while the lamp is in his hands. He declines. She then offers women, anyone anywhere, at his door within the hour, and says everyone has a price. His, he admits, is her.

The characters

• The handyman: Hired to clean fast, he spends his wish on chores and refuses more.
• The genie: Four centuries of masters wanting gold, and now a handyman who asks for something else.
• The homeowner: Impatient lady of the house, demanding everything spotless before her husband returns.

Why watch it

Comedy and fantasy fans get a classic hook with a twist. The genie is so used to greed that a handyman's modesty makes her curious, then interested. Episode 1 is a funny reversal of what a lamp usually leads to, and it is the best place to meet her.
