TRAINER HARLOW: PRIVATE HOUR

The story

Five days into boot camp, Trainer Harlow takes over the yard with her own standard: attention, obedience, instant replies. One recruit can't stop staring, and she notices. She says he's trembling before she has touched him, orders a brutal set of pushups, and mocks him for finishing short. Then she names a time and place: the training grounds that evening, and lateness will not be tolerated.

Next, he shows up. She puts him through stretches and drills, notices he's watching her instead of the exercises, and says so plainly. In the changing rooms she calls the next part stamina training, with one rule: he doesn't finish until she says so.
