Pleasure Island

The story

Evangelina is staying at a villa with her mother's new husband, and she greets the marriage with a joke about calling him Daddy. After a round of target practice he teases her about her aim, and she promises a real demonstration someday.

A meeting with the husband's brother Chad follows, and Chad says she is even prettier than advertised. He invites her aboard a yacht for a bikini party that night, and she accepts on the spot.

By the pool the banter turns warmer, and Chad calls the party casual. On board the music is loud, he reminds her she is technically his step-niece, and the evening closes on a suggestion that everyone find a bedroom.

The characters

• Her stepfather: Recently married to her mom, proud of his aim and quick to introduce his brother.
• Chad: The brother who sends the yacht invitation and keeps the compliments coming.

A good pick for sun-soaked family tangles: a villa, a pool, a boat and a step-niece joke used on purpose. The hook is how fast one introduction becomes an invitation, and then a bigger one. Press play on episode 1 to meet Chad and hear the yacht offer.
