My Wife Hired My Nurse

The story

Both of his hands are in casts. His wife tells him the agency nurse is a sixty-something, so there is no one to flirt with, and leaves the door unlocked. The woman who walks in is not remotely sixty. She changes into something more suitable, then tells him his arm is not the only part of him under pressure, and she knows what is causing it.

In episode 2 his wife phones to ask if the nurse arrived. He says she is very thorough. He points out that he has a wife at home. The nurse is unbothered. She notes his pressure has risen since the morning and starts showing him what special care means.

The characters

• The patient: A husband with both hands in casts, helpless and already imagining a different morning
• The nurse: Sent by the agency, nowhere near sixty, and far too thorough for a routine checkup
• His wife: She arranged the agency, expects a dull day, and calls to check how it is going
