My bestie betrayed me

The story

Emma is searching for her boyfriend, Ryan, sure he must be upstairs. She opens a door and finds Ryan in a compromising spot with Mia, her best friend. He stammers that it isn't what it seems, and Emma is already leaving.

The next day Ryan has a story ready: he blames the alcohol, says Mia made the first move and swears nothing was meant by it. Mia drops by with a concerned voice, asks how Emma is, then tells her not to make a scene because nobody will believe her.

Emma has heard enough. She tells Mia to keep Ryan, since he is exactly the person Mia has earned, and hands him over for good.

• Emma: The betrayed girlfriend, who goes from shock to a clean break in record time.
