The story

Rory asks his best friend to help his newly divorced mom, Amanda, move out ahead of his flight home on Friday. The friend has a van and has changed more than Amanda expected. She is cheerfully direct, and as they sort boxes she holds up something from the closet and admits her husband never noticed her in it, not once in twenty years.

The woman running the house viewings interrupts, curious about the handsome helper, and promises to keep prospective buyers downstairs a while longer. In episode 2 they pack Amanda's bedroom with the sale days away. Tamsin pitches for his hands next, Amanda guards him, and she says nobody has made her feel wanted until now.
