Roxy's Wet Weekend

The story

Roxy is running a car wash with her friends, telling them to scrub harder, when her stepbrother honks as he passes. She snaps that she is working. He says their father and his girlfriend are away, and she tells him he has zero game. He admits her eyes distracted him. She says that was his last stare, until she ends up soaked and he offers a T-shirt from the back.

Then comes a deal over the dishes, with a night of clubbing as the reward. Her answer is a hard pass. A moment later she changes her mind: he can take her out tonight, but he is paying for everything.

The characters

• Roxy: Bossy car-wash boss with no patience for her stepbrother, until a night out beckons.
• Her stepbrother: Honks, stares and bargains, and eventually agrees to a night where he pays for everything.

Why watch it

Good for fans of stepsibling banter with a summer feel: soapy cars, a spare T-shirt, a bargain over chores, and an insult in every line. Roxy keeps refusing and keeps negotiating. Episode 1 is where a car wash turns into a night out.
