18 Holes With My Wife's Sister

The story

Golf has been Diana's department for a decade: she beats her sister's husband every round, and he has accepted it. Today his wife Tessa is in the other cart, which gives Diana room to fix his grip with her hands over his and murmur that nobody can see them.

Before the next hole she proposes a wager: the victor chooses what the other does, and she already knows her prize.

The others give up and head for the clubhouse, while the two stay to finish the match, trading looks he knows he should not return. Rain arrives, the cart barn is the nearest roof, and the score ends level. Diana still demands her prize.

The characters

• Diana: His wife's sister, unbeaten at golf for years and bold enough to rewrite the rules.
• The husband: Perennial runner-up on the course, flustered by the lesson and guilty about every glance.
• Tessa: His wife and Diana's sister, riding in the other cart and satisfied with the pointers excuse.

Why watch it

Golf, rivalry and temptation make this an easy fit for anyone who loves a competitive in-law story. At the center is a wager where the victor names the penalty and both players know exactly what that means. Episode 1 is worth it for a grip lesson that is clearly not about golf.
